Shares of Dataprep Holdings Bhd continued to decline in this morning's trading session after hitting a low yesterday.
In this morning's trading session, Dataprep shares fell 17.14% or 30 sen to RM1.45 with 63.52 million shares changing hands.
At the opening of the trading session, the stock was down 24.57% or 43 sen to RM1.32.
Yesterday, shares of the ICT solutions provider closed at RM1.75 after falling around 30% or 75 sen.
The decline in its share price came due to Bursa Malaysia's warning to investors last week to be careful and make the right decisions in the Dataprep trading session.
Just a week ago, the counter hit a 20 -year high of RM3.79 on March 15, an increase of 23 times from 16.5 sen on February 11.
Meanwhile, Widad Group Bhd, which shares shareholders with Dataprep, is the most actively traded stock on Bursa Malaysia.
Its shares rose 12.64% or 5.5 sen to 49 sen, with 107.23 million shares traded.
Widad Business Group Sdn Bhd (WBG) which became a major shareholder of Dataprep last year, is a company owned by Tan Sri Muhammad Ikmal Opat Abdullah, who also controls interests in the Widad Group company.
