Do you remember the first tweet of founder Jack Dorsey that was auctioned off in a non-fungible token (NFT) version in early March?
“Just setting up my twttr” uploaded on March 21, 2006 by Jack Dorsey was finally bought by Malaysian businessman Sina Estavi for £ 2.1 million (RM11,969,181.88)!

Estavi, chief executive of technology firm Bridge Oracle equated the value of digital art with that of the masterpiece, the Mona Lisa.
“This is not just a tweet! I think a few years later, people will realize the true value of this tweet, just like the Mona Lisa painting. ” @sinaEstavi today.
As a buyer, Estavi will receive a certificate signed and digitally verified by Dorsey, including the original metadata of the tweet. The data contains information such as the length of time the tweet was uploaded and the content of the text.
