In the latest news, electric vehicle manufacturing firm Tesla has finally accepted Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method for every purchase of its products.
The announcement was revealed personally by its founder, Elon Musk just now via social media Twitter.

The figure also tells the bitcoin received will not be converted to fiat instead it will remain as BTC.
However, purchases of Tesla vehicles using Bitcoin are currently limited in the United States (US) before focusing on foreign countries.
Following the announcement, Bitcoin recorded a price spike of over $ 1,000 after the tweet was uploaded.
Previously, Tesla had made a $ 1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin and at the time there was speculation that the firm would accept BTC as a payment medium for the purchase of its products.
The price of Bitcoin has soared over 700% over the past year which is mostly driven by Musk who is pro-bitcoin and cryptocurrency through his collection of tweets on Twitter.
At the time of writing BTC traded at $ 56,267, up 4.27% in 24 hours.
