The latest report informs that a fake bitcoin app has stolen over $ 600.00 Bitcoin (BTC) from iPhone users.
Cryptocurrency holder Phillipe Christodoulou lost almost all of his savings due to the app and says that Apple should be responsible for this.
Last February, Christodoulou wanted to check his Bitcoin balance stored in Trezor's wallet. Therefore, he has also downloaded an application that has the same name and logo with a five -star rating in the iphone App Store.
He found out that he had lost his Bitcoin after entering a key phrase. Unaware that Trezor at this point does not provide a mobile app, Christodoulou turned out to have used a fake app with a five -star rating.
Christodoulou eventually submitted a report to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For example, crypto investors are expected to remain cautious in using any application.
