IHH Healthcare Bhd's share price gained 30 sen or 4.69% to a high of RM6.70 in trading session on Bursa Malaysia today.
At 4.26pm, the counter's share price remained so high at around 3.59% to RM6.63 with a market capitalization of RM58.47 billion.
Following that, IHH Healthcare shares were listed 5th as the most traded counter on the local bourse today.
It also said that the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) had disposed of 1.99 million shares and had received another 350,000 shares in the company on September 3.
To date, the EPF has a direct interest of 8.85% in IHH Healthcare.
IHH Healthcare reported that it recorded a net profit of RM483.31 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2021 from a net loss of RM120.64 million.
The factor follows stronger earnings support before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA).
Meanwhile, quarterly revenue increased 66.47% to RM4.27 billion from RM2.56 million in the same period last year.
