Another Ethereum (ETH) Update, Probably The Last Time - "Arrow Glacier"

thecekodok

In late October, the Ethereum network faced an Altair update and its presence managed to push the price of ETH to the latest all -time high (ATH).

This time Ethereum is teaming up with another network update called Arrow Glacier.

It is understood that the presence of this update is intended to delay periodic tasks (known as “bombs”) which have the potential to stop immediately after Ethereum 2.0 is fully broadcast.

This update is very different from hard fork London and Altair because its main implementation simply wants to avoid the transition period to Ethereum 2.0 being extended.

To make matters worse if Altair is not introduced there is potential for Ethereum to be underutilized.

Perhaps this is the last update before the transition to Ethereum 2.0 with the introduction of much more powerful technology with the presence of the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism.

At the time of writing, ETH is trading at $ 4,357.46, up nearly 7% in 24 hours.
