Amazon has officially launched a metaverse -based game, AWS Cloud Quest.
For the record, this is Amazon’s first effort to highlight the concept of the metaverse alongside the presence of 3D games.
It is understood the objective of Cloud Quest is to boost Amazon Web Services (AWS).
What is AWS?
Also known as Amazon Web Services, it is a giant cloud computing platform that is widely used around the world.
AWS is able to control any company outside of their servers and because of that, many are also disputing this service which is supposedly decentralized but actually centralized.

The presence of these games allows users to solve IT issues related to cloud computing through simulations and puzzles.
While Amazon is trying to create awareness among its users about the importance and benefits of AWS, they also want to boost the use of the services it offers.
The presence of AWS Cloud Quest and AWS Educate is clearly separated from the passive content provided so far:
“We want to create an abstract and realistic concept of cloud computing through hands-on interactive activities. Consumers will find it easier to understand the theory before putting it into practice. ”
AWS Cloud Quest may also be an opportunity for Amazon to introduce a cryptocurrency or non-fungible token (NFT) in the future.
Earlier, there were rumors that Amazon would accept the cryptocurrency but was denied by a spokesman for the giant company.
Anyway, only time will answer this riddle.
