Device wallet manufacturer, Ledger will launch the latest product for non-fungible token (NFT) storage-Ledger Nano S Plus Genesis Edition, limited to 10,000 units only with a pre-ordered price of $ 79 (RM376) per unit.
The announcement was made yesterday, along with a notice of global cooperation with the Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP).
For the record, POAP is a protocol in Ethereum that generates a unique NFT based on its owner’s overall experience, achievements, and life activities.
The Ledger Nano S Plus seems to be more targeted at aspiring fans who want to be collectors of NFT collections or want to record their achievements for a lifetime.
Each Ledger Nano S Plus unit will come with a Genesis POAP NFT gift card that can then be redeemed and stored in the device.
Not only that, POAP is also expected to produce a special edition NFT for any Ledger event in the future.
To date, Ledger sees 20% of its device usage worldwide for crypto asset storage.
The presence of the Nano S Plus is a good initiative as not only can it store coins and crypto tokens, but can also store NFTs in the same space.
You don't have to save it in Metamask if you have this Ledger.
