Russia And America Accuse Each Other Of Using Biological Weapons In Ukraine

The United States has rejected Russia's claims that it is developing biological weapons in Ukraine and says that the allegations are a sign Moscow will use the weapons itself soon.

Press secretary Jen Psaki said Russia's allegations about U.S. biological weapons laboratories and chemical weapons development in Ukraine were absurd.

He described the allegations as a ‘clear ploy’ to try to justify his own actions against Ukraine.

Psaki also warned to be wary of the possibility of Russia using chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, or creating excuses to use them.

On March 6, Moscow's foreign ministry wrote a tweet that the Russian military found evidence Kiev was eliminating the effects of a military biology program in Ukraine, allegedly funded by the Americans.

However, Washington slammed the allegations, saying Russia's information was nonsense and Moscow had a record of accusing the West of committing crimes it had committed.

Despite denying the allegations, but in fact the United States said it was working with Ukraine to prevent the Russian military from seizing biological research material in the country.
