Seriously! NATO Starts Deploying More Troops Around Ukraine In Preparation

 NATO Secretary -General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday that the alliance is likely to increase the number of troops along the east by deploying four military groups in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.


According to Stoltenberg in a press conference ahead of the NATO leaders ’summit in Brussels, he expects leaders to agree to strengthen NATO’s presence in all regions by adding military alliances in the east.


Since the Kremlin’s Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine, NATO has provided 140,000 troops in the region and deployed state -of -the -art military equipment. Of the approximately 140,000 troops, the United States has provided the largest division with 100,000 troops.



U.S. service members and NATO troops are now stationed in neighboring NATO member countries as a precautionary measure. Ukraine, which has gained NATO membership since 2002, borders four NATO allies; Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Poland is now a military gathering center.


President Joe Biden, who is expected to travel to Poland after attending a summit of NATO leaders on Thursday while noting that there is potential for the use of chemical weapons.


Stoltenberg told reporters at the alliance's headquarters in Brussels that the use of chemical weapons would change the nature of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. It would be a blatant violation of international law, he added.
