Stop it! SEC Does Not Give Up, Wants Ripple Case Trial Period Extended

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) still refused to give in to Ripple's lawsuit when it was rumored to have made an application to the court to extend the trial period of the case.

It is understood the SEC wants to take the opportunity (if given) to explain to the court its plans to investigate any additional findings.

Even so, it is unclear how long the SEC will need that time.

As a result, Ripple's side, represented by CEO Brad Garlinghouse and co -founder Chris Larsen, urged judge Sarah Netburn not to approve the SEC's request because the court had been postponing the case for too long.

In fact, there is nothing else that should be used as an excuse to delay Ripple moving into the determination phase.

Earlier, Garlinghouse expressed his confidence in Ripple’s victory.

Perhaps to anticipate his defeat, the SEC did its best to find an opportunity to refute the evidence from Ripple’s side.

But, to what extent is the SEC able to deny its defeat if its official, Hester Pierce is also actually confident Ripple will win?
