‘Well, remember, I’ve been blocking the business for so long.’
The chip -making giant of the United States (US), Intel Corp. has confirmed that they will block all its business operations in Russia.
It indirectly makes Intel one of the other tech giants to participate in blocking Russia for its actions in invading Ukraine.
According to a company statement, Intel will along with the rest of the world community condemn Russia’s actions in waging war on Russia and supporting peace.
Previously, Intel had suspended any shipments of chips to Russia and Belarus to ensure business continuity to minimize disruption to its global operations.
In addition to Intel, International Business Machines Corp. also suspended shipments of its products when Ukraine urged U.S. public computing and software companies to cut off business with Russia.
So far, servers from IBM, Dell Technologies Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. lead the computing market in Russia where companies and government agencies have relied on Western -developed technology as the basis for their ownership and operations.
