The Metaverse Concept Is Well Accepted By Some People Of The World!

 A survey by a non -governmental organization (NGO), the World Economic Forum reported that the concept of Metaverse and virtual reality (VR) is well received by a number of the world’s population.


The results of a survey published by market research firm, Ipsos found that 52% of 21,000 adults in 29 countries are familiar with the concept of metaverse and 50% of them tend to engage into the concept.


Based on the 50%tendency to get involved in the metaverse world, 5 countries ranked highest on the list namely China, India, Peru, Saudi Arabia and Colombia with China topping the list with a record of 78%, followed by India at 75%.



Based on the list as well, Japan is in last place at 22%, the United Kingdom (UK) at 26%, Belgium and Canada at 30%as well as France and Germany at 31%.


For 52%of countries that know the concept of metaverse, Turkey recorded the highest percentage at 86%, India at 80%, China at 73%and France, Belgium and Germany recorded less than 30%.


Ijmal, it can be said that developing countries are seen as more interested and want to get involved in the metaverse when compared to high-income countries.


In addition, developing countries are also seen to apply more virtual learning, entertainment, digital interaction and distance surgery in daily life such as in South Africa and China.


Meanwhile, developing countries are also seen to be more interested in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain as a whole with Brazil, India and the Asia Pacific region being among the first to buy cryptocurrencies in 2021.
