Although Web3 has shown a lot of potential since its inception, most individuals still believe utility is a difficult challenge to face according to a statement by Samsung Next Executives.
Raymond Liao, managing director at Samsung Next (formerly known as Samsung Global Innovation Center) said that his company will dive into Web3 by investing in "MachineFi", a term coined by loTeX to describe a futuristic paradigm that allows machines to become the main workforce and powered by Web technology3.
According to Liao, MachineFi will be an interesting field because Samsung Next will focus investment in blockchain, artificial intelligence and metaverse.
He added that what loTeX does fits into some of its focus areas, and Liao hopes to bring success to MachineFi's vision.
Apart from MachineFi, he also talked about Web3 and how the 'crypto winter' period can provide great opportunities for investors.
Liao said, this year will be better than last year because investment and product builders will have an advantage. Before this too, he believed the market returns were "too inflated".
Therefore, it was also emphasized by Liao to focus on 10x returns, the industry needs to focus on implementation and face the challenge of multiplying utilities to develop the Web3 ecosystem.
In addition, Samsung announced the creation of NFT aggregators that will be integrated into smart TVs such as Micro LED, Neo QLED and The Frame. In the NFT build-in platform, users have the opportunity to explore and trade NFT.
