That's China! Provoke Taiwan Again, Until Biden Is Forced To Rethink This Plan

China's response to Taiwan following a visit by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made President Joe Biden's administration reconsider plans to roll back some of the tariffs imposed during the Trump era.

Previously, Washington had planned to remove some Chinese import tariffs as one of the efforts to reduce the inflationary pressure that is soaring high.

Tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump have made imports from China more expensive for US companies, which in turn has made products too expensive for consumers.

However, Beijing's actions, which launched military exercises around Taiwan as a provocation to Nancy Pelosi's visit last week, caused the Biden administration to reconsider.

For days, Taiwan was threatened by ballistic missile launch exercises and simulated attacks on it.

White House spokeswoman Saloni Sharma said that after Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, the geopolitical situation has become more complicated.

Therefore, President Biden is considering his options very carefully in order to protect the interests of American workers.
