The former founder, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Twitter Inc said the microblogging application was one of the biggest regrets in his life.
The matter was tweeted by Dorsey himself through his personal Twitter page saying the biggest problem and regret in his life was when the 'blue bird' application became a company.
Dorsey explained that he expects Twitter to remain operating as a 'protocol' and should not be owned by a country or any other company.
Clearly, if Twitter were a protocol then it would operate like email which is not controlled by a centralized entity and people using different email providers can communicate with each other.
In general, Twitter has been surrounded by various controversies lately.
Among the most controversial of course is the issue of the failure of the acquisition agreement with billionaire Elon Musk worth $44 billion.
Both sides are seen pointing fingers at each other but the latest update is seen in Musk's favor with a whistle-blower saying Twitter submitted false information to the court.
In the meantime, please be informed that Dorsey's decision is not in favor of any party even if the agreement is signed, he will receive $978 million from his close friend Musk.
