Cryptocurrency scams are unfortunately endless as of today, scammers are still flocking to offer investors lucrative rewards, but they are mere scams that take advantage of some of the greedy nature of investors themselves in doubling their assets.

The same incident happened again when the technology giant is almost 50 years old, Apple Inc held a live event to announce the launch of the new generation of the iPhone (14), AirPods and Apple Watches product line by Tim Cook and his friends.

This event caused scammers to prepare to recreate interviews with the CEO of Apple in order to promote a fake crypto website because they expect many people to watch Apple videos on YouTube.

As such, the Verge stated that tens of thousands of people have watched the video, which features many false signs and strange titles such as Apple Event Live Ceo of Apple Tim Cook: Apple & Metaverse 2022.

However, Apple survived the most extreme crypto scam seen before as the scammers added Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) logos to the stream.

As a result, viewers were going to a dubious URL that had nothing to do with Apple, and YouTube acted quickly by removing the video as soon as possible after some time.

However, this kind of incident is not the first time that has happened to Apple, before this scammer also used a fake Apple website by promising free BTC to deceive fans during the last iPhone 13 product unveiling event.

For the record, various types of crypto fraud have been happening for a long time, including perpetrators usually using famous brands or individuals to trick victims into sending cryptocurrency to their wallets while promising to double their rewards.
