In context, Bitcoin Academy is a face-to-face BTC education program that benefits the residents of Marcy Houses, New York, where Jay Z grew up.
It was also explained that the organizers were transparent with the participants by providing various benefits such as MiFi devices, one year data plan, smartphones, healthcare for children for free and surprise BTC prizes at the last minute.
In addition, among the topics taught in the program are "Wealth Building and Assets", "Why Decentralization Matters", "Staying Safe From Scammers", "Bitcoin & Taxes", "Careers in Crypto" and others.
In fact, all courses are recorded and stored online for Marcy residents to reference.
According to Jay Z and Dorsey, the average population not only understands the concept of BTC mining, they even see it as a long-term investment.
Emphasized, Bitcoin Academy will in no way force students of the academy to buy or trade BTC, but only educate about it.
