It sounds odd but it is a reality when Louis Vuitton (LV) introduced a handbag resembling a 'paint bin' at a price tag of RM12,400.
Even more surprising when the buyer visited the official LV website, the bag was not only sold at a price tag of RM12,400 but it was also named 'LV Paint Can' and was under the conventional alternative bag category.
As the saying goes 'art is subtle', the LV Paint Can design was created by the late Virgil Abloh and introduced at the Men's Fall/Winter 2022 fashion show in the United States.
It has come with a collection of unique colors of purple, orange, red, green, yellow and blue in addition to displaying words that are often found on real paint cans such as 'weather shield', 'quality colour' and 'smooth finishing'.
Just like other LV products, the monogram brand logo has been displayed on all surfaces of the bag.
Please note that the bag is not made of iron but the fabric and size is enough to hold 2 phones and some small personal items.
