It may sound strange but it is a reality when the Chinese government approved the idea of an inhaler vaccine against the Covid virus.
The proposal was made by a pharmaceutical company, CanSiro, which conducts specific research on the production of additional immunity in the lining of the nose and respiratory tract.
According to the company's official statement, the inhaler vaccine is said to be able to provide good protection after just one inhalation of a fine mist (mist).
There is not much information disclosed by the company but they say the essence of the ingredients used is the same as the injectable vaccine.
For the record, the original ingredient was to use a harmless or active adenovirus as a carrier of the genetic code that would teach the body how to fight the Covid-19 virus.
Back to the original story, China's National Medical Products Administration is said to have given approval to CanSiro to produce an inhaler vaccine to be used as a booster dose.
This is because the company announces that it can add protection to those who have previously been pierced based on experimental studies.
In addition, other researchers including teams from the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US) are also said to be studying the effectiveness of the inhaler type vaccine.
Speaking of Western countries, England, Wales and Scotland are understood to be actively implementing the new Covid-19 booster program even though infection cases are seen to be decreasing there.
But the health authorities in England seem unwilling to take risks, especially as the disease season in autumn and cold approaches.
