Nassar, an international business engineer from Lebanon who is also a fan of Bitcoin (BTC) took his love for the crypto to the next level when he had his wedding themed around Satoshi Nakamoto's innovation, BTC.
The proof is that every wedding guest will receive Satoshi, the smallest denomination of BTC, as a wedding gift for attending the Nassar family's special day, while the theme of the wedding is a volcano, which means BTC El Salvador bonds or better known as Volcano bonds.
According to Nassar, he also erected a picture of a volcano at the wedding and distributed gifts through the Lightning Network.
Meaning, under each cutlery set there will be instructions for guests to download the BTC Lightning Network wallet to receive 4,000 Satoshi which is now worth $1.60 due to the devaluation of BTC at the time of the wedding.
In fact, the link took party guests to a YouTube video showing them how to set up a wallet and why they should buy BTC.
However, only 75 of the 250 guests received Satoshi's wedding gift by downloading the wallet and getting 4,000 Satoshi.
In reality, his method of promoting the use of BTC managed to achieve a success rate of 30% considering that the use of BTC worldwide may only reach 10% by 2030.
It is also understood that Nassar is a staunch supporter of BTC, so it is not surprising that his wedding day would be the right time to educate many people about the importance of BTC including explaining monetary policy and what fiat money is.
