The whistle-blower who exposed Twitter's fraud regarding the controversial acquisition agreement with Elon Musk is now being charged.
It is understood that Twitter's former Chief Security Officer, Peiter 'Mudge' Zatko, received a compensation of $7 million in June and should not disclose any information during his tenure.
According to news sources from the United States (US), part of the settlement that saw Zatko receive a large amount of compensation was that he was banned from talking about his time on Twitter.
But looking at the situation, Zatko has denied the settlement by making a disclosure saying Twitter is not transparent and composed a security plan given to the court.
Due to the fact that he had previously agreed to the agreement, Twitter has submitted the allegations to the court.
Comment the source further that Zatko will meet the US Senate Judiciary Committee on September 13 to discuss the allegations.
Like to be reminded that the actions of the former Chief Securities Officer who 'spoiled' Twitter gave Elon Musk an advantage in terms of a $44 billion acquisition deal.
For the record, Twitter Inc and Musk are still in a court dispute over a $44 billion acquisition deal that fell through earlier this month.
Musk accused the company of refusing to cooperate while Twitter said the billionaire was deliberately delaying the purchase at a bargain price.
