South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has denied receiving accusations that Seoul provided weapons to Ukraine, shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin said the move could destroy bilateral relations.
Putin insisted, the West is said to be inciting war in Ukraine so that South Korea offers weapons to the country just as Moscow sends various weapons to North Korea.
Nevertheless, Yoon upheld the truth by saying that his country only provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine in solidarity with the international community and will never use weapons.
As evidence, South Korea rejected Kyiv's request for weapons but supplied bulletproof vests, helmets and medical supplies to Ukraine.
He added that South Korea will make every effort to maintain close relations with all countries around the world including Russia.
It is understood that Putin's invasion of Ukraine was triggered by the United States (US) and the West that instigated the conflict in the country and resulted in a number of individuals losing their lives and homes.
The string, Putin expressed his suspicions about South Korea's reaction if his country cooperates with North Korea to act like him.
This follows because Russia has never been tickled to be an enemy of South Korea, in fact they will always cooperate with that country to further strengthen relations.
