Ripple's original token, XRP has become the most popular cryptocurrency of the moment. The price of XRP has decreased by 12% in the last 30 days. However, this price movement has motivated whales to move more XRP tokens.
Based on data provided by WhaleAlert, the whale group has transferred 385 million XRP tokens (worth approximately $131 million) in various transactions over the past 24 hours. However, the single largest transaction recorded by the tracker saw the transfer of more than 280 million XRP (approximately $95.4 million worth).
There was a Whale that bought around 35.1 million XRP tokens amid the recent price drop. The unidentified whale added $11.8 million worth of XRP from Bitso, a crypto exchange.
On the other hand, several groups of whales sold 70 million XRP (worth approximately $25.6 million) on different crypto exchanges. One of the Whales sold $11.8 million worth of XRP on Bitso. While the other Whale sold $10.1 million worth of XRP on Bitstamp.
The good news is that BitMart has listed Ripple's XRP on its platform amid the uncertainty of the lawsuit.
XRP price is up around 0.1% in the last 24 hours. It is trading at an average price of $0.353, at press time. It holds a turnover of more than $708 million. XRP has a total market capitalization of around $17 billion despite facing a lawsuit from the US SEC.
Some investors are of the view that XRP will be stuck around $0.383 for a while before really recovering.
