Several whales transferred 68 million Ripple (XRP) worth $27 million to cryptocurrency exchange companies Bitso and Bitstamp while the digital asset was still in a lawsuit with the United States (US) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
In addition to whales moving 370 million XRP worth $147 million in the last 24 hours, the largest transaction recorded was a transfer of 252 million worth $101 million to an unknown wallet.
For the record, the price of XRP slipped 5% in the past 7 days and its trading volume decreased by around 2% at $1.07 billion in the last 24 hours, until now the digital asset is in the zone of $0.4026.
The price of XRP has been seen struggling to break through the $0.40 resistance level and this problem may result in investors looking to sell their holdings if the lawsuit remains unresolved.
XRP investors are still faithfully waiting for the court to issue a summary judgment in the claim but still have not given any decision that can have a positive impact.
It is already known that most investors of the digital asset are very confident that the price will climb high if the lawsuit between XRP and the SEC is settled, but it should be noted that it has the potential to collapse if investors start to get bored.
