"Some people support BTC but some don't, so investors should not take it too seriously."

A Twitter user poked fun at an earlier statement by Euro Pacific Capital Inc CEO Peter Schiff in 2017 that said the cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) would become worthless.

Explained in more detail, the individual said he was very happy to have invested in BTC in response to Schiff's earlier mention that the digital asset was heading to $0.

The streak, Schiff responded to the following individual statement stating that BTC will indeed be at $0 price but it is in the long run.

Its still going to zero. Just traveling a long road.

It is well known that Schiff, who has long been a strong critic of BTC, continuously expects the digital asset to fail in the future, but lately it has been able to maintain its performance despite the market decline.

Even so, Schiff remained steadfast in his negative stance on BTC despite the digital asset seeing positive momentum.

It is widely known that BTC plunged 50% at $19,791 after Schiff advised investors to liquidate the digital asset during the recent collapse of many banks, including Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Signature Bank.

However, the price of BTC rose again by almost 50% to reach above $28,000 on March 22 even as the United States (US) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to take aggressive action against crypto companies.

As of this writing, BTC price has plunged by 2.89% to $27,031 in the last 24 hours with a market capitalization of $522 billion while recording a 1.73% decline over the past week.
