Several cryptocurrencies are predicted to see a rally if Bitcoin (BTC) manages to break through the $35,000 level, popular crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe commented on February 28.
Core PCE inflation in the United States (US) and pressure from central banks around the world is why BTC price is still trading below the $23,500 level with a decline of almost 2% in the last 24 hours.
However, Poppe expects the price of Ethereum (ETH) to break through the $2,500 to $2,800 level if BTC reaches $35,000 coupled with the upgrade of ETH Shanghai in March, where so far the digital asset is down around 1.40% at $1,607.
While he believes the price of Chainlink (LINK) has the potential to rise to $12 to $15 following the digital asset's implementation of the Proof-of-Reserve (PoR) system, Web3 solutions and collaboration with the SWIFT cross-border payment system.
If BTC reaches $35,000, Poppe also predicts the price of Avalanche (AVAX) will be able to break through $55 to $60 when it is currently found to have jumped slightly after signing an agreement with Amazon Web Services to support its infrastructure and dApp ecosystem.
Although currently trading at $0.43, Fantom (FTM) is expected to reach $1.10 to $1.30 in the near term while Litecoin (LTC) has the potential to cross the $185 to $210 level.
In the meantime, Poppe also believes that Cosmos (ATOM) will reach the price of $22 to $25 if BTC crosses that target.
