"Don't suddenly be quiet when the price has broken through $0.01, many people have taken this screenshot."
United States (US) entrepreneur David Gokhshtein responded to the challenge of a Twitter user named Shiba Miracle $0.01 who wants him to delete his main social media channel account which is Twitter which has 700,000 followers if Shiba Inu memecoin (SHIB) reaches the price level of $0.01.
Although SHIB managed to climb by 3.98% at $0.00001 in the last 24 hours, the price of the memecoin still has a long way to go to surpass $0.01.
It is widely known that Gokhshtein's promise comes as Coinbase Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Balaji Srinivasan announced that he will transfer $2 million into USDC for Bitcoin (BTC) bets, where he believes it will reach $1 million in 90 days.
Even so, many individuals are skeptical of Srinivasan's confidence and well-known crypto expert Adam Cochran expressed his displeasure regarding his predictions for BTC.
This is because Cochran thinks BTC needs stronger sentiment for its price to overcome the 547% increase seen from 2020 to 2022.
But it should be known that John McAfee, the founder of the McAfee antivirus software company who has died, also made the same prediction as Srinivasan.
In July 2017, McAfee predicted the price of BTC would reach $500,000 within three years but changed his prediction saying the digital asset could surpass $1 million by the end of 2020.
Unfortunately, he expected BTC price to fall by the end of 2020 to around $29,000 and McAfee was reported to have died on June 23, 2021.
