 Here are some of the important economic data that will be the focus of the market throughout this week.


China Inflation Data (Tuesday 9.30 AM): As the world's second largest economy, China's economic data will be watched where it will also influence the global market. The consumer inflation rate will be given attention for the March reading.


US Inflation Data (Wednesday 8.30pm): After employment data was evaluated last week, this week the focus will be on the US consumer price index (CPI) data for an initial picture of the market ahead of the FOMC meeting in early May.


Central Bank of Canada Policy Meeting (Wednesday 10:00 PM): Like the previous meeting, the results of the April meeting also remain expecting the Bank of Canada (BOC) to keep interest rates unchanged at 4.50%.
