"Will the price go up if they cooperate?"

As part of the main event, a product linked to the Render network (RNDR) that offers distributed* GPU rendering** on the blockchain was mentioned in Apple's event on Monday yesterday.

*The process of producing a photorealistic or non-photorealistic image from a 2D or 3D model through a computer program

**Graphics processing unit, a specialized processor originally designed to speed up graphics rendering

There is no denying that cryptocurrencies based on artificial intelligence (AI) such as RNDR and SingularityNET have been gaining popularity lately.

While AI chatbots and other products have yet to integrate crypto payments, Apple's 2023 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWBC) is expected to pave the way for the integration of digital assets through the launch of a headset dubbed Vision Pro.

Despite this, no features or updates related to the crypto market were mentioned during the WWDC conference but Apple intends to sign an agreement with OTOY Inc, which is the company that founded the RNDR network.

While the iPhone maker features Octane X which is a GPU rendering feature available on the Mac App Store, where it also has something to do with RNDR follow-up OTOY is the company behind both products.

In context, OTOY's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jules Urbach founded RNDR in 2016 to provide a decentralized GPU-based rendering solution.

As such, there are speculations saying that Apple and Octane may soon be working together.

Apple's well-known augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) products, namely the Vision Pro headset, were originally expected to require RNDR network functionality and GPU rendering but the company unfortunately did not mention any partnerships at the event.
