Adidas signed an agreement with the famous Web3 artist Fewocious to release a limited edition non-fungible token (NFT) collection called 'Trefoil Flower' which also includes Adidas Originals Campus 00s shoes.
The 4,500-unit NFT Trefoil Flower collection will not only feature exciting new shoe designs, but physical shoes will come with virtual tokens.
In addition, Adidas and Fewocious will also release 4,500 Trefoil Flower NFT mint passes, where they will be available for purchase from 22 June 2023 and fans can head to the OpeaSea market which has been designated as an exclusive outlet for the sale.
The virtual mint pass will give holders exclusive access to retrieve a specially designed pair of Adidas Originals Campus 00s shoes.
Then in August 2023, holders who wish to burn their NFTs can receive a physical version of the shoes, but it should be noted that shipping of a pair of the actual Adidas Originals Campus 00s shoes will begin in September of this year.
According to Fewocious, working with Adidas is a real dream come true and can't believe he can finally officially collaborate with them after four years of painting Adidas shoes in his own bedroom.
He added that the NFT collection is one of the longest projects he has ever done, therefore he truly believes in the potential and future of fashion, shoes, physical including digital which has recently gained popularity.
