The largest crypto exchange, Binance has reportedly conducted a lie detector test on world football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo also updated the development on his X platform account and many wondered what the purpose of Binance was to do this.
Ronaldo said Binance gave him the biggest challenge by imposing the test. The full video will follow later, so fans should stay tuned.
The average fans were initially a bit unhappy with Binance's actions which they saw should not have done such a thing that could scratch the image of a figure with world star status.
However, it was revealed that the purpose of the test was to validate Ronaldo's statement regarding his previous interest in cryptocurrency and his involvement with Binance.
In fact, Binance has also obtained consent from Ronaldo himself before conducting the test.
There are also parties who see this as one of the marketing techniques after the appearance of Ronaldo's second non-fungible token (NFT) collection that was launched.
The NFT collection titled "ForeverCR7: The GOAT" is a tribute to Ronaldo's career in the form of illustrations and also his achievements in football.
The collection, which was launched last July, showcased a variety of 20 different designs.
Each design features a capture of the best net moments that have been produced throughout his career from the 'bicycle kick' netting style to the mesmerizing long distance kick.
