Microsoft signed an agreement with blockchain platform Aptos Labs to expand its efforts in Artificial Intelligence (AI) including exploring the world of Web3 more deeply.
In addition to facilitating Microsoft's AI capital training to apply verified blockchain data and run validator nodes on Microsoft's Azure cloud, the collaboration aims to increase the credibility, reliability and transparency of AI-generated content through blockchain technology.
According to Daniel An, Microsoft's Director of Global Business Development, the integration of AI into Web3 solutions will become more prominent in the coming months and years.
While the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aptos Labs, Mo Shaikh who said that the partnership is to address industry-specific challenges has caused the price of Aptos (APT) to jump by 18% to $7.79.
He added that large language models (LLM) can act as powerful content creators while blockchain functions as a marker for transparency and trust, therefore the combination can increase user confidence.
Aptos Labs' blockchain can handle up to 160,000 transactions per second, where the fast settlement time and cost have successfully attracted the interest of big tech companies like Microsoft to build AI-related products and services.
It is well known that access to decentralized technology is facilitated by programs such as the integration of GitHub Copilot and Aptos Assistant, which is an AI chatbot connecting Web2 and Web3.
