Shytosi Kusama, lead developer at Shiba Inu, recently announced that Shibarium, an L2 scaling solution from the Shiba Inu blockchain network, has been launched and is up and running.
This announcement follows several tests and adjustments, marking a milestone for the Shiba Inu project.
Shytoshi Kusama emphasized that before the official announcement, Shibarium had more than 65,000 wallets and processed 350 transactions. This L2 has become like a hub for various types of tokens.
Kusama praised Shiba Inu's decision to leave Polygon and bring this new Shibarium project to a rapidly growing milestone.
Further, Kusama mentioned the production process for some tokens, emphasizing that this process takes from 45 minutes to 3 hours or even up to 7 days, especially for the BONE token.
The highly-anticipated launch ran into some major technical difficulties earlier in the month, causing SHIB prices to plummet. Indirectly has eliminated the increase of several weeks of positive price performance. At the same time, Shibarium also faced several critical "FUD attacks".
