Former White House Employee Joins Ripple, Good News For XRP Army?

Lauren Belive, a former White House Legal Affairs Officer and policy director of the United States (US) House of Representatives Regulatory Committee has joined the Ripple firm as US public and government policy chair.


Belive, who previously worked at Softbank Group, Zoom and Lyft and has experience in government, has accepted a basic position at Ripple to lead engagement in Washington including the rest of the US.


As the security landscape continues to expand, Belive not only aims to provide support to the cryptocurrency market but also to businesses that are increasingly interested in offering digital asset services.



This new development by Belive has been carried out while the court lawsuit between Ripple and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still in effect.


Although the case is still ongoing, Judge Analisa Torres in July 2023 has ruled that the XRP token supported by Ripple is not a security.
