During an exclusive podcast interview with Natalie Brunell, famous Mexican billionaire and founder of Grupo Salinas, Ricardo Salinas Pliego not only revealed his investment portfolio but also shared interesting insights into his journey with Bitcoin (BTC).
After looking at his portfolio, Pliego reportedly invests in various sectors, among them BTC, MicroStrategy, several mining companies, oil companies, investments in gold mining and others.
Pliego's early involvement in BTC investment is very interesting as he first became interested in the digital asset when its price was only $200 and now it has reached over $26,000.
After 15 days of his investment, BTC doubled but Pliego decided to sell his stake when the price reached $800 and it later proved to be a wise move.
However, it should be noted that Pliego's journey with BTC did not end after he sold it as it re-entered the market and patiently held the digital asset until now.
So here it can be seen that Pliego held BTC until its price peaked in 2017, where he sold his holdings in the digital asset when it was at $17,000.
Please note that the trade is one of the most profitable transactions and Pliego has shown a very high trust in BTC.
