"Wahhh it looks like Honda has joined crypto, when will other car manufacturers?"

Japanese car giant Honda, which has finally joined the cryptocurrency market, has applied several digital assets including Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) as its payment options.

Honda has entered into an agreement with a blockchain payment system called FCF Pay to allow customers to lease or buy its company's products through crypto instead of fiat.

Besides XRP and SHIB, among other digital assets received by Honda are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Polkadot (DOT) and some memecoins such as Pepe Coin (PEPE), Floki Inu (FLOKI), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) and Doge Killer (LEASH).

Over the past few years, the digital asset mentioned above has emerged as a top trend in the crypto market as most investors are found more interested in investing in memecoin than other cryptocurrencies.

On a different note, SHIB gained traction earlier this week when FCF Pay also partnered with Texas-based energy company Chariot Energy to allow locals to pay their solar panel bills in memecoins.

Not only that, eligible customers of major British bank HSBC can also settle their mortgage bills and loans in various cryptocurrencies including XRP and SHIB.

Currently, SHIB price is up about 2.61% at the level of $0.000007 with a market capitalization of $4 billion then recorded a surge of 2.84% over the last week.
