ASNB Announces Dividend of 5.25 Sens Per Unit In 2023!

 Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd. (ASNB) has just announced an income distribution of 5.25 sen with a total payment of RM9.3 billion for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.


In a statement earlier, ASNB which is fully owned by Permodalan Nasional Bhd. said that the income distribution was as much as 4.25 cents per unit and a one cent bonus benefited 10.8 million unit holders.


According to the Chairman of PNB, Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda stated that PNB has consistently delivered competitive returns through its fixed price funds that have outperformed their benchmarks over the years despite the volatile market conditions, higher interest rates and inflationary pressures.


He also advised the public to continue saving to secure their future. PNB also believes in the importance of increasing financial literacy and improving the financial lives of Malaysians across generations.

Other developments include the merger of Malaysia Building Society Berhad and Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad as well as a RM2 billion sale and purchase and leaseback agreement signed with KWSP, Incorporated and Osram Opto Semiconductors for its manufacturing facility in Kulim Hi-tech Park, Kedah.


PNB plans to improve the unitholder experience through innovation and digitization, ensuring it meets its 10 Environmental, Social and Governance commitments next year.


ASNB's income distribution is calculated using the average monthly balance held throughout the financial year with the units invested. It will be credited into the unit holder's account on 1 January 2024.
