"Wow that's great, will the price of all three cryptocurrencies go up because of this project?"
DcSpark and Paima Studios co-founder Sebastian Guillemot who is a software engineer and member of the Cardano (ADA) community intends to implement more projects combining Arbitrum (ARB), Mina Protocol (MINA) including ADA in 2024.
Although the community is enthusiastic about planning the project, Guillemot admits that ADA's current infrastructure limits its ability to verify zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) until the next hardfork.
After focusing on the Ethereum (ETH) based platform, Paima Engine developed by Paima Studios which designs blockchain games is now almost finished integrating with ADA, where it improves decentralized gaming to rival Web2.
Indeed the blog post also highlighted to overcome the limitations of the current layer-1 blockchain which controls 80% of the liquidity of the crypto market, but unfortunately fails to support massively multiplayer online gaming (MMO).
In addition to increasing scalability, Guillemot's solution that leverages ZKP can also address the issue of data storage limitations on blockchain layer-1 to achieve the scalability required for widespread use of decentralized gaming.
As the community anticipates the realization of such innovative concepts in MMOs, ADA has seen significant growth of over 120% in the last year but is still below its record level reached in September 2021.
Like to be informed that ARB and MINA also showed significant activity following the price of ARB on 24 December 2023 managed to see an increase up to $1.46 while MINA reached $1.49 early this morning.
Just last week, the Mina Foundation responsible for the MINA protocol underwent a significant change in leadership where MINA co-founder Evan Shapiro appointed former Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kurt Hemecker as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
