Yemen's Houthi leaders have warned they will continue to attack US warships if they plan to attack the group in the Red Sea.

The move comes in the wake of curbing attacks by the Houthi group that blockaded commercial ships linked to Zionists amid the Israel-Hamas Middle East conflict.

Abdel Malek Al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthis said that they will not remain silent and will respond by launching a war if the US imposes more severe sanctions.

He further said that any warship of Israel's allies crossing the Red Sea will be attacked through missile attacks, drones and the group's military operations.

The action also received support from Iran over their brutality against the people of Gaza in Palestine.

Recently, the United States (US) announced a coalition of 10 countries to end attacks affecting transit routes that carry up to 12 percent of global trade.

According to recent reports, the United States has plans to mobilize its military assets ahead of schedule to ensure safe passage for Israeli and related vessels. Since last month, the Houthis, who control large swathes of territory in Yemen, have fired drones and missiles at international ships transiting the Red Sea.

In addition to the US, Italy also sent a frigate to the Red Sea as part of an international effort to help protect other commercial vessels from Houthi missile and drone attacks.

Thus the US-led security initiative sees Washington and most of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries reacting to the Houthi attack which has so far caused major global shipping companies to change trade routes around Africa.
