Recently, NVIDIA has just launched a new ChatGPT 'killer' dubbed as RTX.
The technology is designed to help GeForce RTX 30 Series and 40 Series graphics card owners use Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbots while offline from a Windows PC.
Precisely, its existence can adapt the GenAI model which is very similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT.
RTX is able to connect users with information from documents, files and notes that have been stored in the computer.
NVIDIA also gave an early indication to users that the method to download the technology requires a large storage space because it is expected to be between 50 GB and 100 GB and it depends on the model used.
Based on the firm's statement, RTX's abilities are much more sophisticated because the answers given to each user query are more specific and have a clearer context.
The tool is quite similar to Mistral's open model but it also supports text-based Large Language Models (LLM) such as Meta Llama 2. It also supports various types of text formats such as PDF, doc, docx and xml.
Therefore, once the application finds a folder containing the desired information, it will automatically load it into the model's fine-tuning data set.
It can also load the transcription of a video on YouTube via a URL and query the model for the content of the video.
Although it has many functions, RTX cannot remember the context and the user has to do it repeatedly.
The capabilities of RTX can be affected by other factors such as the performance of the chosen model, the size of the fine-tuning data set and the re-phrasing of the question.
The launch of RTX is one of the great achievements that the company has achieved in recent months.
NVIDIA has recently surpassed e-commerce giant Amazon to become the 4th largest company in terms of market capitalization in the United States.
In addition, NVIDIA chips have been recognized by the Chinese military, state-owned artificial intelligence research centers and universities.
This shows a great development for the firm in enriching many investors and wants to increase its power which was previously dominated by ChatGpt and Google's Gemini AI.
