Bitpanda, the Austrian cryptocurrency broker has finally succeeded in expanding its partnership with Deutsche Bank to implement a real payment solution for its users' transactions in Germany.
Reportedly, Bitpanda users will now not only be able to access the German international bank account number (IBAN) but also exchange crypto for fiat or vice versa while Deutsche Bank will provide support for incoming and outgoing transactions at the crypto broker.
According to Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, Bitpanda's Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said his team from today can access Deutsche Bank's range of products including getting various benefits.
Pleased to note that Bitpanda in April 2024 also partnered with Germany's largest government-backed lender Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) to offer a crypto custody service in the country which will go live in the second half of the year.
After Deutsche Bank is no stranger to digital assets and tokenization, the German banking giant was found to have added crypto custody and tokenization last year through the signing of an agreement with Taurus.
It should also be noted that Taurus, which is supported by Deutsche Bank, has offered tokenized SME loans through the Taylor lending platform.
On the other hand, Deutsche Bank research analysts revealed that only 14% of the stablecoin market was able to survive immediately after studying nearly 334 currency pegs.
