Former President of the United States, Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt after several shots were fired at him during the election campaign.
At the time of the incident, Trump had just started his speech before several gunshots rang out. He who was aware of the attack continued to sit behind the podium and the atmosphere became chaotic and panicky.
Several video clips show Trump getting up with his hands up and covering his right ear after finding the bullet only hit him in the back of the head.
At that time, agents of the Secret Service (SIS) surrounded him and a panic situation broke out among his supporters.
However, the shooter was reportedly killed along with a supporter who was present. Another is in critical condition. The identity and motive of the shooter is still under investigation.
The shooting occurred less than four months before the election on November 5 when Trump will face his rival, Democratic President Joe Biden.
Trump and Biden are again competing in this year's election with most polls showing the two candidates have even chances.
In an immediate reaction, Republican and Democratic leaders also condemned the violence.
Meanwhile, Biden in an open statement said there is no place for violence in national politics.
