Recently there has been speculation that former President of the United States (US) Donald Trump may be considering BlackRock CEO Larry Fink for the post of Treasury Secretary.
There is no denying that there are those who say that Trump intends to bring the CEO of JPMorgan Chase for the role of Secretary of the Treasury of the United States (US), but some crypto supporters actually respect Trump and have talked to Fink.
Through observation, BlackRock for years has managed Trump's financial portfolio and even the former US President put his funds into the BlackRock Obsidian Fund which is described as a hedge fund of various global fixed income strategies.
In addition to wanting to choose Fink because of his pro-Bitcoin (BTC) stance, Trump also revealed his plan not to oust Federal Reserve (Fed) Chairman Jerome Powell before his term ends.
Although discussions are still ongoing, Trump's biggest rival in the 2024 election has dropped out of the race after US President Joe Biden officially announced he will not run again.
