Israel risks continuing the war against Hezbollah to ensure Benjamin Netanyahu's political position as Prime Minister of Israel is maintained. However, the worst incident is about to erupt leading to mass civilian deaths in Israel and Lebanon.

Harrison Mann, Former Top Officer of the US Defense Intelligence Agency predicted that a devastating new war would break out and draw the United States into the region once again.

Even before last June the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement that the attack on Lebanon was over. Many experts feel that Netanyahu is aware of the dangers of war with Hezbollah and that they should not be looking for trouble.

In addition, the Israeli military is confident that the Iranian-backed Hezbollah forces have enough war equipment to oppose them.

The IDF needs to realize that their strength needs to be strengthened to counter the Shiite army because the rocket, missile and artillery attacks in the mountainous areas of Lebanon at the beginning of the attack are very worrying.

Not to forget, the Israeli attack that led to the assassination of the Hezbollah leader last April has fueled the spirit of war in the Middle East region.

Harrison Mann who is a former US military officer resigned his position shortly after the Israel-Gaza mission because he felt the injustice of the killing and starvation of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians.
