The news of the death of Ismail Haniyeh who was believed to be the target of a missile early Wednesday morning caused the whole world to mourn.
Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Senior Senior Diplomat in one of his posts on the X page said Israel will bear a 'heavy price' due to the killing of Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil.
Ismail's remains will be flown to Doha, Qatar after the last respects in Tehran scheduled for Thursday at around 8am local time.
According to Al Jazeera, the last respects took place in the capital of Iran and Ismail's remains will be buried in the capital of Qatar on Friday.
Israel's deputy representative at the UN, Jonathan Miller, claimed that Iran is the world's biggest sponsor of terrorism during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following the killing of the Hamas leader.
He also said that Iran is not only a sponsor of terrorism, but it is a machine that drives the engine of death and destruction that threatens world peace.
The al-Qassam Brigade spokesman in a statement on Wednesday said, the Zionist regime has made a mistake by expanding the scope of their violence and killing the leaders of the movement in different arenas and violating the sovereignty of regional countries.
