The 53-year-old man is currently the richest person in the world with a net worth of $251 billion based on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Informa Connect Academy revealed that Musk's wealth grew at a staggering average rate of 110% within a year.
The wealth potential of the owner of the X application continues to increase at the same rate and is able to be crowned as the first trillionaire in the world within the next three years.
The "2024 Trillion Dollar Club" report puts Tesla's business at a market value of $669.3 billion which is an impressive growth rate of 173.3% according to Informa.
This means that Tesla alone could exceed US$1 trillion (RM4.37 trillion) as early as next year.
