Johor 'Lucky Charm' for EcoWorld Malaysia

Johor has become an important area for property development, which is very beneficial for EcoWorld Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia).

As the main 'hot' area, the state has overtaken the Klang Valley, accounting for 63% of EcoWorld Malaysia's total sales in 2024.

This was mostly due to industrial projects and land sales to foreign companies including Microsoft Payments and Princeton Digital Group, which brought in RM402.3 million and RM223.8 million respectively.

EcoWorld Malaysia has achieved RM3.5 billion year to date (YTD), surpassing its 2024 sales objective.

As of 31 August 2024, the corporation's industrial segment earned a revenue of RM1.05 billion, surpassing the previous year's record.

The introduction of Quantum, a series of industrial parks aimed at attracting high-tech investment, is an example of recent progress.

After rebranding as Quantum Edge, the first park in Kulai, Eco Business Park VI, achieved RM626 million in sales.

Experts remain bullish on EcoWorld Malaysia's prospects, but are cautious following the group's recent share price rise.

Due to current market valuations, some research organizations continue to maintain conservative ratings despite excellent performance.
