Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of more than 500 people reported so far according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, one of the deadliest days of the ongoing conflict.
The airstrikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure across Lebanon, including the south and the Bekaa Valley, as Israel launched 1,300 strikes.
Hezbollah responded by firing over 200 rockets into northern Israel.
Thousands of families have fled their homes amid the violence.
The conflict, which has escalated over nearly a year of cross-border fighting, has raised international concerns.
The United Nations and the European Union urged both sides not to escalate the situation, warning of the potential for full-scale war.
Israel stated that its airstrikes were aimed at destroying the ability of Hezbollah forces to fire rockets and missiles over the Lebanon-Israel border, while Hezbollah has vowed to continue its attacks in support of Hamas.
