The Malaysian government has announced the awarding of a RM500 bonus to civil servants Grade 56 and below in recognition of their contribution in carrying out their duties and maintaining the smooth running of the public service.
The granting of this bonus is an additional incentive in an effort to increase the motivation and well-being of civil servants in this country.
The increase in funds is expected to be channeled this December as the end of the year which is usually given by the government as an appreciation to civil servants for their contribution and service throughout the year.
This bonus payment is also intended to help ease the burden of living costs ahead of the year-end celebrations.
